Marketing

Marketing Emails - We send out email with our monthly special offers. Your email address will be added to this list when you place your order. You can opt out of the monthly emails permanently by simply clicking the unsubscribe list in the first email you receive. This will not prevent you from getting invoices and other order related emails. Any important company announcements will be sent to all the email addresses of customers who have bought from us.

Mail Marketing - We do not send you marketing by mail, other than on occasions within a delivery.

If you are a new customer, we will only contact you when you have provided consent and only by those means you provided consent for.

Storing your personal data - We will not transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Economic Area for processing and storing. We will take all reasonable steps to make sure that your data is treated securely and in agreement with this policy. Data that is provided to us is stored on secure servers. Details relating to any transactions entered into on our site will be encrypted to ensure its safety. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically and transmission of such data is therefore entirely at your own risk. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Should we encounter a breach of information security our company policy is to make all stakeholders and users aware within 72 hours.

Children's Data - Due to the scope of PPE Direct's operations, there is no requirement for us to hold the personal data of children.

Data Breach Reporting - On the discovery of any data breach we will inform all stakeholders and customers within 72 hours by either telephone or email.

Access to Information - The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access the information that we hold about you. Please note that any demand for access may be subject to payment of a fee of £10.00 (GBP) which covers our costs in providing you with the information requested.
